Gabi Garcia, undefeated as a mixed martial artist, returns to MMA competition

Grappling sensation Gabi Garcia has not competed in professional mixed martial arts since December 2018, but will return to action after more than five years away from the sport.

Garcia, 38, undefeated at 6-0, and returns to MMA on April 25 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in a rematch with Barbara Nepomuceno, Centurion FC officials confirmed to MMA Fighting earlier today. The event will air live and free on Caze TV on YouTube.

“Centurion FC is coming, and coming strong,” Centurion FC CEO Roberto Gallo told MMA Fighting. “Having Gabi Garcia, it’s a privilege. A privilege that reflects Centurion FC’s direction.”

Garcia defeated Nepomuceno by way of kelylock submission at RIZIN 14 in her last outing. Watch that fight below:

Garcia has four gold medals in ADCC and also won double gold at the IBJJF Pans.
