Gina Carano shows support to Cyborg and Holly Holm after epic UFC 219 fight
Cris Cyborg recorded her first UFC title defense in epic fashion on Saturday at UFC 219 when she defeated Holly Holm by unanimous decision. Former MMA star Gina Carano weighed in on the action, congratulating both fighters.

Carano’s last fight of her career was in 2009, a loss to Cyborg in Strikeforce. She never did have the opportunity to compete against Holm. Carano has long been considered one of the pioneer’s of women’s mixed martial arts although she never fought under the UFC banner.
