“Turkish Tyson” – Kickboxing sensation Gokhan Saki signs with UFC

Kickboxing sensation Gokhan Saki has officially signed with the UFC. The “Turkish Terror” has expressed an interest in competing on the Fight Night Rotterdam card on September 2, but no opponent has officially been named.

Saki, who also goes by the name, “The Rebel,” announced his signing with a video on Facebook.

“I’m glad i finally can announce that I have signed an exclusive long term contract with the UFC.
The best investment the UFC has made since Conor McGregor.”

The famed kickboxer who resides in Dubai, has fought the likes of Badr Hari, Alexey Ignashov, Ray Sefo, Remy Bojansky, Tyrone Spong, Melvin Manhoef, Peter Aerts, Semmy Schilt, Rico Verhoeven and Alistair Overeem.

Saki has won titles in both GLORY and K-1 and amassed a professional record of 83-12, 1 NC.  59 of the 83 wins were by way of knockout.

Saki has one mixed martial arts bout to his credit, a TKO loss to James Zikic in 2004.  Now returning to MMA for the first time in more than a decade Saki looks make a name for himself in the UFC’s light heavyweight division.
