Hamza Kooheji Sets Camp Under Murat Keshtov At K-Dojo Tribe In New Jersey
The Pride of Bahrain Hamza Kooheji made the nation proud with a stellar performance at BRAVE CF 57 in the Kingdom of Bahrain last March. Despite falling short with a split decision verdict in favor of his foe, Kooheji’s determination and perseverance to prove the high level of skills and abilities Bahrainis possess did not waver.
Earlier this month, Kooheji embarked on a journey to the United States where he joined the camp of the legendary Russian mixed martial arts coach Murat Keshtov, K-Dojo Tribe in New Jersey.
“One of the most important factors of growth is traveling and discovering,” says Kooheji. “My martial art journey has always been traveling and learning from different gyms around the world.”
K-Dojo Tribe was the first home of Khabib Nurmagomedov in America. Renowned coach Murat Keshtov helped Nurmagomedov settle in before he made his stateside debut and was in his corner for his first fights in the United States. He has also built a tremendous stable of fighters, with the likes of Rustam Chsiev and Azamat Murzakanov among the top athletes produced by Keshtov and K-Dojo Tribe.
“Murat Keshtov is a very experienced coach,” says Hamza Kooheji. “He’s been around for a long time and a lot of athletes have been in his camp. When you go to camp with him he takes good care of you and starts focusing on a lot of things that can make you a better fighter.”
