Heather Hardy vs Ana Julaton set for Bellator 194, also later boxing bout
Professional boxers turned mixed martial artists, Ana Julaton and Heather Hardy, will face off at Bellator 194 next month.
The February 16 fight card at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut will pair Hardy, the current WBC International female featherweight champion against Julaton, a former WBO World female super bantamweight title holder, in an MMA bout.

A boxing bout between the two is supposed to take place at a later date to be determined.
According to MMA Fighting’s Marc Raimondi, “the MMA-to-boxing scenario was brokered as a joint deal between Bellator, Hardy’s DiBella Entertainment promotional company and Julaton’s Orion Sports Management. DiBella and Orion will co-promote the boxing match and join Bellator in co-promoting the MMA fight.”
Hardy is coming off a devastating TKO loss to Kristina Williams at Bellator 185 in October. Julaton was on the same fight card and lost a unanimous decision to Lisa Blaine. Julaton has lost two in a row and now holds a 2-3 professional MMA record while Hardy sits at 1-1.
Bellator 194 is headlined by a heavyweight grand prix tournament fight between Roy Nelson and Matt Mitrione. The co-main event features a lightweight fight between Patricky Freire and Derek Campos.
