Henry Cejudo talks retirement, possible opponents, WWE/AEW possibility, Ryan Garcia, and Smart Cups
Former TMZ reporter Adam Glyn recently caught up with former UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo in Hoboken, New Jersey. The recently retired mixed martial artist and Olympic Gold Medalist (wrestling) spoke about a variety of topics when the segment was filmed on July 13.
“I knew the main event with Kamaru Usman, was going to be a boring fight,” Cejudo said of this past weekend’s UFC 251 blockbuster on Fight Island.
Triple C stated that he told Usman that Masvidal was explosive and that he would have to “tie him up and make it boring.”
Cejudo even went to mention that he believed Max Holloway defeated Alexander Volkanovski in that controversial UFC featherweight title fight on Saturday.
“I was going for Volkanovski because I believe that is a better matchup for me,” Cejudo said (hinting towards a possible return).
