Hussain Ayyad set for professional debut at Brave 12
Bahrain’s second professional fighter, Hussain Ayyad has announced that he is all set to take on Jomar Pa-ac at Brave 12: KHK Legacy in Jakarta, Indonesia. Trained at KHK MMA Bahrain gym and Reza’s Martial Arts Center, Ayyad has represented the Kingdom of Bahrain in multiple amateur events including the 2017 IMMAF World Championships. Ayyad secured multiple medals in IMMAF events and will compete in the expanding flyweight division of Brave Combat Federation.
Ayyad’s professional debut in Brave Combat Federation was announced by none other than His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa in the promotional video showcased during the signing of the agreement between Bahrain and IMMAF to host 2018 & 2019 IMMAF World Championships in Bahrain. Ayyad is in the final phase of training as the fight night is set to take place on 11 May at Balai Sarbini Hall in Jakarta, Indonesia. Entry of Ayyad into the flyweight division will also usher further expansion of the division. The flyweight division in Brave Combat Federation has expanded in 2018 with global superstars joining the ranks including 9 time IBJJF champion Bruno Malfacine who competed in the 11th edition of Brave hosted in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
