IMMAF World Champion Otabek Rajabov Signs Multi-Fight Pro Deal With Cage Glory Championship

International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) World and Continental Champion Otabek Rajabov has officially inked a multi-fight deal with professional MMA promotion Cage Glory Championship, widely known as CGC.

Fresh from his stellar performance at the 2023 IMMAF World Championships, Tajikistan’s Otabek Rajabov exits the amateur ranks with two World titles to his name, as well as numerous continental gold medals.

Rajabov’s debut in question will see him take on undefeated prospect Ahmad Abbas, the first bout in a four-fight deal he has signed with CGC.

His standout 2023 campaign showcased Rajabov’s prowess as he overcame top IMMAF athletes, including IMMAF Asian Champion Akrom Uzakov, IMMAF European Champion Movsar Ibragimov, and former Cage Warriors Academy standout Delffy Humer.

An elite bantamweight equipped with a well-rounded game that has seen him thrive in both grappling and striking scenarios, Rajabov is every bit the rising star that his 18-1 record suggests.

Joining CGC is a natural progression for the Tajikistani World Champion, with the promotion actively focusing on investing in elite amateur athletes transitioning to the professional MMA landscape. CGC aims to cultivate the potential of these athletes, developing their potential into future superstars of the sport.

The announcement of Rajabov’s signing aligns with CGC’s ambitious 2024 expansion into Saudi Arabia, a rapidly evolving market for combat sports. The promotion plans to host multiple events in Riyadh throughout 2024, including Rajabov’s debut.

Rajabov’s journey in the professional circuit is poised to be as remarkable as his amateur accomplishments, and fans can anticipate witnessing his continued excellence in the cage under CGC’s banner.
