Invicta FC 16 adds Angela Hill and Aspen Ladd

Invicta FC 16

Kansas City, Mo. – Due to injuries sustained during training, strawweight contender Alexa Grasso and bantamweight newcomer Amberlynn Orr have been forced to withdraw from their respective bouts in Las Vegas on March 11.

As a result, UFC veteran Angela “Overkill” Hill (3-2), coming off her impressive Invicta FC debut, a first-round knockout in January, will step in to face former title challenger Stephanie “Snowflake” Eggink (4-2) at strawweight.

Prospect Aspen Ladd (2-0), replacing Orr, moves up from flyweight to take on fellow unbeaten fighter “Killer” Kelly McGill (2-0) at bantamweight.

In the headline bout of Invicta FC 16, newly crowned atomweight champion Ayaka Hamasaki (12-1) defends her title for the first time against red-hot challenger Amber “The Bully” Brown (6-1).

Comprising the second leg of a championship doubleheader, an interim flyweight champion will be crowned when Brazilians Vanessa Porto (18-6) and Jennifer Maia (12-4-1) square off in the night’s co-headline bout.
