Invicta FC 26 Results – Maia vs. Niedźwiedź

Tonight, Invicta Fighting Championships returned to Scottish Rite Temple for Invicta FC 26, headlined by flyweight champion Jennifer Maia (14-4-1) defending her belt against undefeated challenger Aga “Kuma” Niedźwiedź (10-0).

The eight-fight card streams live and exclusively via UFC FIGHT PASS at 7 p.m. CT.

Jiu-Jitsu ace and undefeated MMA competitor Mackenzie Dern made her Invicat FC debut in the co-main event when she took on former title contender Kaline Medeiros.  Dern’s striking was not the prettiest but she got the job done, lumping up her opponent, and forcing the fight to the third and final round where she transitioned from full mount with ground and pound to an armbar for the win.

Yesterday, Kinberly Novaes, Vanessa Porto, Amy Montenegro, and Amber Brown all missed weight for their respective bouts and were fined 25 percent of their purses. All four bouts will proceed at catchweight.

Kay Hansen became the youngest competitor to ever compete inside the Invicta FC cage.  The 18-year old fighter from Team Punishment has only been training mixed martial arts for two year.  Hansen took on Emilee Prince and both fighters were making their professional debuts.  It did not take long for Hansen to bully Prince, get the fight down to the ground, secure mount, and transition to armbar for the tap.
