Invicta FC 37 results – Pearl Gonzalez vs. Brogan Sanchez
Tonght, Oct. 4, Invicta Fighting Championships will hold Invicta FC 37 from Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas.
The main event features a flyweight contest between Pearl Gonzalez (9-4) and Brogan “Killer Bee” Sanchez (6-0).
In a final interview leading up to the event, the former title challenger Gonzalez stated, “I’m focused on the task at hand and my task is Brogan Sanchez. That’s all I’m focused on right now. I want to not only beat Brogan, but also put on the best performance of my life. I want to show the world how talented, how technical and how vicious I am. I plan on doing that on Friday night.”
Guam’s Sanchez added, “[Pearl] is really well known and I’m hoping that this fight, with me showcasing my abilities, will take me to the next level.”

Claire Johnson picked up a third round submission win in her Invicta FC debut. Johnson submitted Jordan Kaaze with an armbar to pick up the first win of her professional career.

“Hurricane” Hope Chase looked incredibly impressive as she locked up a first round rear-naked choke submission over Megan Cawley in the second fight of the night.
What a war between Linda Mihalec and Marisa Messer-Belenchia. The third round proved to be a blood bath between these two ladies who would occupy all 15-minutes. Messer-Belenchia would control Mihalec up against the cage but it was the Marine Corps Veteran in Mihalec who would have a very big second round with heavy ground and pound. Mihalec wins on all scorecards.
Lindsey VanZandt picked up her first Invicta FC win in three appearances after dropping Shino VanHoose with a leg kick to the knee. It was not the way that VanZandt wanted to get her first promotional debut, but the kick was beautifully timed and she will walk away with a win.
Kay Hansen’s stock continues to rise as she submitted Nicolle Caliari with a neck crank in the third round.
In the night’s co-main event, Mariya Agapova finished Marilia Santos with a first round TKO.
Pearl Gonzalez returns in dominant fashion, winning over all the judges in her three round battle with Brogan Sanchez in the night’s main event.
