Israel Adesanya channels his inner Jigsaw: “In this game, we don’t keep score…we settle them”
Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya (23-2) has dropped a chilling promo video for his upcoming title rematch against the man who took his title, Alex Pereira (7-1).
Adesanya and Pereira are coming off an extremely exciting five-round war at UFC 281 in November. In that contest, then champion Adesanya hurt Pereira early on. The challenger survived and was able to finish the 33-year-old fighter from New Zealand in the fifth and final round.
Prior to that contest, Pereira defeated Adesanya twice in kickboxing, making this MMA loss, the third straight victory for the Brazilian, now fighting out of Connecticut.
Now with the title in Pereira’s hands, a rematch is set for UFC 287 in April. Check out the video that Adesanya posted below using themes and the soundtrack from the SAW horror films and famed character, Jigsaw.
