Jack Shore forced out of Kyler Phillips fight with ‘a serious knee injury’
Jack Shore has pulled out of his upcoming fight against Kyler Phillips.
Shore was set to face Phillips at a Fight Night card on November 19 in a crucial fight for both men. The winner would’ve likely gotten a ranked opponent next but Shore announced he is out of the fight with a serious knee injury. The main event of the card is uncertain at this point.
“Just a quick post guys! Unfortunately I am out of my upcoming fight due to a serious knee injury. Gonna be sidelined for likely the rest of the year as this one is gonna take abit of time to get right! I’ll go into more detail about the specifics on my next podcast to save the long post. As always thank you all for your support!,” Shore wrote on FaceBook
Jack Shore (16-1) is coming off his first career loss as he suffered a submission loss to Ricky Simon at UFC Long Island in July. Before that, the Welsh fighter was 5-0 in the UFC with wins over Timur Valiev, Liudvik Sholinian, Hunter Azure, Aaron Phillips, and Nohelin Hernandez. Before signing with the Las Vegas-based promotion he was the Cage Warriors bantamweight champion.
Kyler Phillips (10-2) returned to the win column back in February as he scored a submission win over Marcelo Rojo at UFC 272 after losing a controversial decision to Raulian Paiva. Before the loss to Paiva, Phillips beats Song Yadong by decision and also scored a TKO win over Cameron Else and a decision win over Gabriel Silva.
With Shore vs. Phillips off the Nov. 19 Fight Night card, the event is as follows:

- Kyler Phillips vs. TBD
- Cody Brundage vs. Rodolfo Vieira
