Jake Paul has found a new career in the sport of boxing. After being a Disney Channel kid and growing his popularity on social media, Paul took up boxing when his brother, Logan Paul, started the YouTube boxer phenomenon in August of 2018.

Since then, Paul has been perfect as a pro boxer. In his debut, he fought and knocked out Gib. In his return, on the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. card, Jake Paul knocked out Nate Robinson, an NBA star. Then the affinity with boxing MMA fighters began as Paul took on Ben Askren, knocking him out in the first round. He took a step up in competition and took on Tyron Woodley, the former UFC welterweight champion, and won via split decision. After linked to a Tommy Fury fight, Fury pulled out on short notice and Woodley, once again, stepped in and fought Jake Paul, this time being knocked out in round six.

After a couple cancellations with Hasim Rahman Jr. and another with Tommy Fury, Paul is taking another step up in competition facing former UFC middleweight king Anderson Silva.

Silva’s return to boxing has been quite prolific as well. After being knocked out by Uriah Hall in his final fight with the UFC, Silva took on former boxing World Champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. who he upset with a split decision.

He returned to action a few months later and knocked out Tito Ortiz in the first round. And most recently, he fought MMA fighter Bruno Machado in an exhibition match in Abu Dhabi that was a draw as no winner was decided despite Silva knocking down his opponent in the fifth round.
