Jalin Turner aims to keep ‘streak of first round finishes going’ against Alex Gorgees at UFC 234

Jalin Turner discusses his upcoming bout with Alex Gorgees at UFC 234. The event takes place Feb. 9 at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia and the lightweight bout will be part of the UFC Fight Pass preliminary card.

Turner talks about how excited he is to get back in the Octagon, what changes he has made following his UFC debut loss to Vicente Luque at UFC 229, what lessons he learned from that experience, traveling to Australia for the first time, not knowing who his opponent is and the path to victory.

“The Tarantula” also dives in a little bit deeper with how he got his nickname, which is pretty fascinating.

UFC 234 will be headlined by a middleweight title fight between champion Robert Whittaker and Kelvin Gastelum.
