James Jefferson discusses Asylum 54 and Warrior Island

James Jefferson has been a player in the ever expanding east coast MMA promotional market for years. The man has seen his ups and downs of the promotional game, and still steadily plugs away for his passion of the martial arts.

After receiving a phone call from Jefferson, he’d inform me about a new business structure between a former ally, in Asylum Fight League promoter, Carl Mascarenhas, himself (which the two of cross promoted in the past) and long time running MMA promotion Cage Fury Fighting Championships.

In the midst of several back and forth discussions, Jefferson informed me of his role in the new business structure between the promotions, as well as introduced me to the long awaited “Warrior Island” Comic Book, which features multiple world renowned martial artists as characters in the book dedicated to the spirit of “the warrior code”.

Tune in below as I go head to head with James B. Jefferson in this exclusive interview, days ahead of Asylum Fight League 54.
