Jared Cannonier reacts to viral clip from UFC 274
In the crowd for UFC 274, was the number two ranked UFC middleweight contender, Jared Cannonier.
Unfortunately for him, however, he was next to Liverpool’s rising and rowdy stars Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett and “Meatball” Molly McCann.
As the broadcast drifted over to the group of Cannonier, Pimblett, McCann, and bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling, it was clear that Cannonier was a bit uncomfortable.

On a recent episode of The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Cannonier explained, “I’m there to watch the fights, you know. I’m there to watch the circus, not be a part of the circus.”
“I’m doing me, man. They’re doing them and that’s me.”
Cannonier continues, “I really don’t like being surrounded by a lot of people who I don’t know, who I’m not familiar with, who I don’t trust. I guess it’s a stigma I picked up from the Army.”
He tells Helwani that he was “there to learn,” and to envision himself in the fights ahead of his title bout against middleweight champion Israel Adesanya. Which is set to take place on July 2nd at UFC 276.

If you were at the event, would you surround yourself with ‘wild-by-nature’ McCann and Pimblett or the much calmer Jared Cannonier?
