Jason High Released From UFC For Shoving Referee
When you start losing a fight, you get angry. When you get angry, you don’t think straight. When you don’t think straight, you shove a referee. When you shove a referee, you lose your job as a UFC fighter. Don’t start losing your fight and shoving referees.
Jason High was very displeased in what he felt was a premature stoppage in his TKO loss to Rafael Dos Anjos. The result, High (18-5) shoved referee Kevin Mulhall. High was immediately apologetic on Twitter about his actions, unfortunately for him, that was not enough for UFC president Dana White.
“He’s cut. I’m going to cut him. I look at that the way Daley put his hands on his opponent after a fight was over” said White.
Jason High was 2-2 in the UFC, and overall has a good professional record and should not have a hard time finding another promotion picking him up, such as WSOF or Bellator FC.
