Jason Witt aims to finish Hugh Pulley, get call from Sean Shelby and UFC

Professional mixed martial artist Jason Witt will put his 13-4 record on the line when he meets Hugh Pulley on a three-bout fight card, part of an all men’s religious retreat known as the Stronger Men’s Conference.

The April 13 fight goes down in Springfield, Missouri, not a far travel for the GLORY MMA and Fitness based fighter who is currently riding a five-fight win-streak.  The fight will be sanctioned and will count towards his professional record.

“He’s a pretty good name to put on my list of people,” Witt said of Pulley.

“My goal is to make it to the UFC and I believe that is where I belong. I see this as chalking up another win and making my record 14-4 and getting on a six fight win streak.  That’s all I care about,” the James Krause prospect told MyMMANews.com.

“The Vanilla Gorilla” Witt works as a professional trainer during the day and has competed professional in MMA organizations such as Shamrock FC, Titan FC, Victory FC, LFA, Chosen Few, and even Bellator.  With a win over Pulley, Witt would like a call from UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby and said that he is willing to compete on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series to prove his worth.

Witt revealed how a fight with a childhood friend led to both of them training later down the road in a nearby gym, ultimately launching his path towards sanctioned mixed martial arts competition. Lastly the welterweight competitor talks about dropping down in size and final preparations for the upcoming fight.
