Jim Miller Becomes All-time Leading Winner With Submission against Donald Cerrone

The UFC will host another double-header Pay-Per-View this evening with the middleweight and featherweight straps being on the line. The event will take place at the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas.

In the main event champion Israel Adesanya looks good make another defense of his belt when he faces powerhouse Jared Cannonier. Also, Alexander Volkanovski attempts to sweepstake Max Holloway in their anticipated third fight.

The card also includes, Robbie Lawler vs. Bryan Barberena that is certain to produce a fight of the night contender. Sean O’Malley will face battled-veteran Pedro Munhoz. Names like; Donald Cerrone vs. Jim Miller, Ian Garry vs. Gabe Green, Brad Riddell, Brad Taveres and Uriah Hall all fight on the card.

Donald Cerrone vs. Jim Miller Play-by-Play

In this highlighted play-by-play will feature two future Hall of Famers as Jim Miller and Donald Cerrone square off.

After three cancelled fights with Bobby Green Jim Miller (34-16-1) finds himself on the stacked pay-per-view card with a fellow veteran and legend. Donald Cerrone (36-12), steps in on short notice after his cancellation against Joe Lauzon. Cowboy will be looking to get back in the win column for the first time since 2019 against Al Iaquinta.

Here’s how the fight played out round by round:

ROUND 1:

Battle of the all-time winners inside the UFC. A very patient opening from both fighters. Miller catches a kick and follows it to the mat. Miller on top and looking to progress. Miller tries to advance but both these guys are veterans and know what’s coming next, Cowboy scrambles on top now. Miller is threatening with the triangle. Late submission attempts on both sides.

ROUND 2:

Cerrone needs to get his offensive going again. A good left hand from Miller connects. Both guys throw a head kick at the same time and Cowboy slips and Miller JUMPS on the one-armed guillotine, this is TIGHT. Cerrone is trying to wiggle out but it comes without any success and is forced to TAP. Miller becomes the all-time leading winner inside the octagon.
