Jim Miller vs Charles Oliveira booked for UFC on FOX 31
The first fighter in UFC history to reach 30 fights with the organization will look to pick up yet another win on December 15 as New Jersey native Jim Miller takes on Brazilian submission artist Charles Oliveira.
In the UFC Milwaukee main event, which airs live on FOX, Kevin Lee faces Al Iaquinta in a highly-anticipated rematch. The event takes place at the Fiserv Forum.
“Do Bronx” Oliveira (24-8) is coming off back-to-back wins over Christos Giagos and longtime UFC veteran Clay Guida. Those two submission wins propelled Oliveira past Royce Gracie with the most submission wins in UFC history.
Miller (29-10) celebrated his 10-year anniversary with the UFC just a few short weeks ago. He debuted under the Zuffa banner at UFC 89 in October 2008.
A win here for either competitor could land one of the two in the organization’s top 15 rankings at 155-pounds.
