Norman Parke had to withdraw from his scheduled UFC 181 fight with Diego Sanchez due to injury. Hints began dropping that Joe Lauzon may have been a replacement for Parke when the lightweight with the post post fight performance bonuses in UFC history sent out a cryptic Instagram photo along side text that read “What have I done?”
UFC President Dana White then confirmed that the fight is indeed scheduled for the Fight Card in Mexico City. The UFC’s first trip to Mexico is headlined by a heavyweight title bout between champion Cain Velasquez and contender, Fabricio Werdum.
