Joe Riggs, Melvin Guillard sign contracts for inaugural BKFC Fight Night

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is bringing an explosive main event for its first trip to Montana, as former UFC veterans Joe “Diesel” Riggs (49-18-1-2 MMA; 3-1-1 in Bare Knuckle) and Melvin Guillard (32-22-2-3 MMA; 2-5 in Bare Knuckle) have both signed contracts to toe the line against each other in a yet-to-be officially announced main event for the inaugural BKFC Fight Night on October 9th.

Matchmaker Nate Shook declined to comment on this matchup between the two heavy handed strikers, both of whom are coming off of controversial losses in BKFC action. A venue for BKFC Fight Night I has not been confirmed as of press time.

Riggs is coming off a fourth round doctor’s stoppage loss to Hector Lomard at BKFC 18 in June, while “The Young Assassin” Guillard was disqualified after an illegal blow against Harris Stephenson at BKFC 20 in August.
