Former UFC champ Ronda Rousey to headline WrestleMania, first-ever women's main event

Joe Rogan wonders how much Ronda Rousey loves WWE

Ronda Rousey was the first ever female champion in UFC history. From there, Rousey took the MMA world by storm and became a can’t miss fighter and a huge star. Not only was she a star in the MMA world, but everyone knew who Ronda Rousey was.

She started her career out 12-0, with six UFC bantamweight title defenses. Not only was she winning, but Rousey was finishing her fights and beating champions and former champions of the sport in the likes of Meisha Tate, twice, Julia Budd (Strikeforce), and Sarah Kauffman among others. She also holds notable wins over Cat Zingano, Liz Carmouche, and Bethe Correira among others.

However, she then got knocked out by Holly Holm to lose her title. And, in her return got knocked out again by Amanda Nunes.

Following the losses, Rousey left the UFC and joined the WWE, where she has become a huge star. And, she will also be headling Wrestlemania. But, UFC commentator, Joe Rogan can’t help but wonder how much Rousey loves WWE.

“I’m wondering how much she loves the WWE. I always wonder when a person is like an elite athlete at the highest level, a real one, if they still enjoy doing that. I think she enjoyed doing that though. I think she was a fan of it before she ever got involved. I think she actually enjoyed pro wrestling. It’s not competition, but then again you can only get knocked unconscious so many times. You can only get f*cked up so many times and she got f*cked up two fights in a row really bad. The Holly Holm KO, which was ruthless and then Amanda Nunes just punched her face in for 48 seconds. It was horrific, that was hard to watch.”

She has been rumored to be leaving the WWE after Wrestlemania, so only time will tell.
