Joe Solecki discusses his upcoming fight at UFC Vegas 69

Joe Solecki has been living a great life.

In June, he was able to get a decision win over Alex da Silva Coelho to get himself back into the win column and to improve his record to 5-1 within the UFC.

Then outside of the cage, in October Solecki’s daughter went trick-or-treating for the first time.

That great family moment was then followed up with the news that his wife is pregnant and in July, Solecki and his wife with add a baby boy to their family.

As you could imagine, Solecki is filled with smiles as his career and personal life are going great and now he’ll look to add on to what’s been a great few months.

On Feb. 18 at UFC Vegas 69, Solecki is set to take on Benoit Saint-Denis in what maybe a pivotal fight in Solecki’s career as a win at UFC Vegas 69 gives him six octagon victories with his only loss coming by way of a split decision.

A win should put Solecki into the mix of things as far as the UFC ranks go, but right now Solecki isn’t paying attention to rankings for future matchups. Instead his main focus is getting the win over Saint-Denis and then returning home to help his family get ready to welcome the arrival of their newest member.

Prior to the fight, Solecki spoke with MyMMANews about his matchup with Saint-Denis, his family life and he discussed Jared Gordon’s controvial loss to Paddy Pimblett as Gordon was the only UFC fighter to beat Solecki.

You can watch his full interview in the video above.
