Joe Solecki talks about his UFC Vegas 23 win over Jim Miller

Joe Solecki isn’t one to overly celebrate a win, but you can tell by looking at him that’s he’s extremely happy about his performance on Saturday at UFC Vegas 23.

Solecki headlined the preliminary card and picked up the biggest win of his career as he defeated the UFC’s all time fights leader, Jim Miller by unanimous decision.

The two men fought an extremely close opening round, but after that it was all Solecki, who used takedowns and good top game to easily take rounds two and three. The win makes Solecki a perfect 3-0 inside of the octagon and 11-2 as a professional.

Following his big win, Solecki spoke to MyMMANews to recap his performance. Aside from discussing his win, Solecki also spoke about how much he looked up to Miller, training in North Carolina, and working out with former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman.
