John Brennan learned a hard lesson in last fight
Art of War Cage Fighting will make their first appearance at the Lebanon, PA Expo Center on Saturday night November 23rd. AOW President Mike Bickings has consistently held sold-out events loaded with some of the best regional talent on the east coast.
The fight card at AOW 14 is looking to be very interesting and MyMMANews will be cage-side with full event coverage as well as publishing several pre-fight interviews/profiles.
Check out our interview with John Brennan above. “Bearcat” Brennan and his opponent Bobby Malcolm will both be looking for their first win as professionals. “Bearcat” came out on the losing side of the judges scorecards in his debut in what was an epic fight vs Will Dill. Both guys stood toe to toe for 3 full rounds and had the crowd on their feet for most of the 15 minutes.
John is a student of the game and when I asked him what he learned in his Art of War 9 war with Dill, he had this to say…
“First thing I learned is Will Dill is a tough dude. He hits really hard. Stepped up and took his pro debut on 10-days notice. I got walloped early and he was swinging for the fences. I was just in there playing the game, not looking for blood. Specifically on the mental side, I would go out there with a game plan and the skills that I’ve acquired and what Will made me realize is that I have to be ready to go out there with a killer instinct and be ready to rip someone’s head off because that’s how he came out. I appreciate him kind of teaching me that lesson during that fight.”
Brennan will have a lot of support in the stands on fight night on what will surely be another packed house. We shall see if he sends them home happy.
