BKFC-20 is headlined by the highly anticipated rematch between former BKFC world champion ‘Brutal’ Johnny Bedford, (5-1-0, 3 KOs), of Colleyville, TX and Reggie Barnett, (6-1-0, 2 KOs), of Virginia Beach, VA competing for the vacant BKFC Bantamweight World Championship.

A BKFC legend from the company’s first event in June 2018, Bedford, known for his crowd pleasing, aggressive style, was upset in his most recent bout losing the BKFC Bantamweight World Championship to Dat Nguyen in a hotly contested battle at KnuckleMania on February 5, 2021. With Nguyen since leaving BKFC, the title was declared vacant.

Barnett fought a fierce battle with Bedford in their first fight at BKFC-6 on June 22, 2019, losing a unanimous decision. He has since won three fights in a row, most recently stopping former boxing world champion DeMarcus Corley at BKFC-16 on March 19, 2021.

Co-featured at BKFC-20, hometown favorite and former UFC standout, Alan ‘The Talent’ Belcher will make his BKFC debut in a middleweight fight against MMA veteran Tony ‘Kryptonite’ Lopez, of Yucaipa, CA.

Belcher was a perennial contender in UFC compiling a record of 18-8. Among the notable UFC names Belcher fought include Michael Bisping, Patrick Cote, Jason MacDonald, Rousimar Palhares and Wilson Gouveria. Lopez will be looking for his first BKFC victory having dropped two hard-fought unanimous decisions to current BKFC Heavyweight World Champion Joey Beltran at BKFC-1 and to Jimmy Jennett at BKFC-2. Lopez fought Beltran a second time at BKFC-4 earning a split-decision draw on February 2, 2019.

In a special attraction heavyweight bout, popular Quentin ‘The Hero’ Henry, (2-1-0, 1 KO), of West Monroe, LA will face Jason ‘J Hook’em’ Fish, (2-0, 2 KOs), of Saginaw, MI. Henry will look to bounce back into the win column after his first BKFC loss to Chris Leben at KnuckleMania. Hook seeks to extend his winning streak, having stopped Adrian Miles at BKFC-16 on March 19, 2021.
