UFC champions Jon Jones and Ronda Rousey are officially endorsed by Reebok.
It was announced a few weeks ago that Reebok and the UFC struck a six-year deal that would put a halt to fighters wearing anything but Reebok to and while inside the cage. Some fighters have responded well to the deal others have not.
UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis and former welterweight champion Johny Hendricks had previous personal endorsement from the Reebok brand before the UFC deal struck.
Now Jones and Rousey, two of the sports biggest stars can be added to that list according to a press release issued by Reebok.
Jones and Rousey “will be working closely with Reebok to help develop and launch the brand’s new range of UFC apparel, as well as a new collection of footwear and apparel specifically created for the more than 35 million people around the world who participate in combat training to stay fit.”
Jones posted a reaction video to Instagram showing him dancing and celebrating the occasion.
Rousey tweeted out “You’re not the only one dancing today, @JonnyBones. Check it out. I am #TeamReebok. An official @Reebok athlete!”
