Kayla Harrison wants fourth fight against Larissa Pacheco, still open to fighting Cris Cyborg

Former PFL women’s lightweight champion Kayla Harrison wants a fourth fight against Larissa Pacheco, and says she is still open to fighting Cris Cyborg.

In one of the biggest upsets of 2022, Harrison lost a unanimous decision to Pacheco in the PFL women’s lightweight finals. Considering Harrison was unbeaten heading into the fight and already had two prior wins over the Brazilian, it was downright shocking for many fans to see Pacheco go in there and handle business. For Harrison, it was a tough way to suffer her first career loss, but she is already looking forward to fighting her rival for the fourth time and getting revenge after losing in such a surprising fashion at the PFL final.

Speaking to ESPN in a recent interview, Harrison confirmed she wants to fight Pacheco again. However, she also knows she is not the champion anymore and realizes it’s up to Pacheco if they’re going to fight again.

“Yeah absolutely,” Harrison said when asked if she wants to fight Pacheco a fourth time (via MMAjunkie.com). “It is (a priority), but I also understand like I don’t call the shots anymore. I f*cked up, I lost, I’m not the champ, so now I’m kind of at the mercy of some other people, and it’s gonna suck. She can say no and if she doesn’t want to, she can just be like, ‘No, forget her.’”

Aside from a potential fourth fight against Pacheco, Harrison also mentioned Cyborg as a potential rival. Cyborg and Harrison have been going after each other for several years now on social media, and Harrison said she is still very much willing to fight her if possible.

“I would definitely love to fight Cyborg. She knows I would love to fight her. Rolls-Royce or no Rolls-Royce, I don’t do this for the money, I don’t do it for fancy cars. I actually do really love what I do,” Harrison said.

Do you want to see the fourth fight between Kayla Harrison and Larissa Pacheco, and who do you think would win if it happens?
