KB Bhullar to make UAE Warriors debut against Tarek Suleiman
Former UFC middleweight KB Bhullar (9-2) will meet Tarek Suleiman (11-7) at UAE Warriors 24 in Abu Dhabi on October 29.
News of the fight was confirmed by MyMMANews on Tuesday night after speaking UAE Warriors officials.
Bhullar, 30, has suffered defeat twice in his career, both under the UFC banner at 185-pounds. Following his release from the UFC, “The Bengal” went on to compete with Unified MMA at light heavyweight, picking up a decision win over Anton Tokarchuk in August.
The 6’4″ fighter, Bhullar, out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada will move back down to middleweight for the bout against Suleiman who was born in the Syrian Arab Republic and competes out of Thailand.
Suleiman has competed five times with UAE Warriors and is currently riding a two-fight win streak with finishes of Piotr Walawski and Laïd Zerhouni.
Established in 2012, UAE Warriors is a prolific, high-profile Mixed Martial Art (MMA) promotion based in the Middle East, proudly produced by Palms Sports, a UAE-based company that promotes sporting activities to UAE Nationals and the community in general.
UAE Warriors 24 will take place the night prior to the UFC’s return to “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi and it is expected that UFC officials will be attendance for the event.
