Kennedy Nzechukwu vs. Karl Roberson slated for July 9th Fight Night
UFC Fight Night: Dos Anjos vs. Fiziev has a new addition to the card, and it will be a light-heavyweight banger as Karl Roberson meets Kennedy Nzechukwu.
“Baby K” Roberson (9-5-0) made his way to the UFC following a first-round knockout win over Ryan Spann on the 2017 season of Dana White’s Contender Series. Since then, he has gone 4-5 under the UFC banner and holds wins over the likes of Darren Stewart and Roman Kopylov.
Dispite going 0-3 in his last three bouts, Roberson will look to get the train back on track as he takes on the “African Savage” Nzechukwu.
Nzechukwu (9-3-0) is also a DWCS alumn having defeated Dennis Bryant on the 2018 season. Since, he has gone 3-4 holding victorys over Darko Stosic, Carlos Ulberg, and Danilo Marques.
Also on a lossing streak, Nzechukwu lost his last two bouts to Da Un jung and Nick Negumereanu. Come July, he’ll look to get his 10th professional victory and get back in the win column.
UFC Fight Night: Dos Anjos vs. Fiziev is set to take place on July 9th at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. It will be broadcasted on ESPN.
