“Kid” Yamamoto Returns to Fight Roman Salazar at UFC 184
Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto (18-6, 1 NC) stepped away from fighting three years ago, after suffering three consecutive losses in the UFC. Yamamoto returns in action against Roman Salazar (9-3), who lost in his UFC debut to back in October. Yamamoto has been a shadow of his former self, was once of the best featherweights in the world, flaunting a 17-1 record back in 2007.
Since 2009, the 37-year old Yamamoto has been on a decline, going 1-5. including his three-fight skid in the Octagon. Yamamoto will bring plenty of experience and is always a dangerous opponent for anyone.
