Kinchegashvili-Eierman Added To Hawkeye Wrestling Club Showdown
The Hawkeye Wrestling Club Showdown Open is around the corner and takes place on November 1st. The upcoming card has found it’s first wrestling match. Vladimer Khinchegashvili will take on Jaydin Eierman at the event.
Vladimer Kinchegashvili is a World and Olympic medalist. Kinchegashvili won silver at the 2012 Olympic Games and a gold medal at the 2015 World Championships. The 29 year old Georgian looks to get revenge against Eierman after losing to him some time ago.
In addition to the World and Olympic medals, Kinchegashvili has won six medals, three gold in 2014, 2016, and 2017, in the European Championships and defeated Yianni Diakomihalis earlier this month at Beat the Streets.
Jaydin Eierman recently announced that he is transferring from Missouri to Iowa for his red shirt senior season.
Eierman has placed fifth, fourth and third in his three NCAA Championships at Missouri. Eierman is a 3 time NCAA All-American and has done well internationally in freestyle with wins over Augustin Destribats and Beka Lomtadze.
