KSW 59 Trailer: Pudzianowksi vs. Bombardier
On March 20th, live on KSWTV.com, continents will collide as Five-Time World’s Strongest Man Mariusz Pudzianowski (13-7) meets Senegalese Heavyweight Wrestling Champion Bombardier (2-0) in the Super Heavyweight division.
Pudzianowski was last in action at KSW 51 towards the end of 2019 where he defeated bodybuilder Erko Jun with a second round TKO. The Polish sporting legend, who is credited with helping the growth of MMA in that part of the world, made his MMA debut in 2009 upon retiring from the sport of strongman.
The 44-year-old has had impressive wins during his twelve-year career in mixed martial arts and has amassed victories over the likes of Oli Thompson, Sean McCorkle, Butterbean, Rolles Gracie, Bob Sapp, and Jay Silva.
Now facing Pudzianowski is a new challenge coming in the shape of a 6′6″, 140kg behemoth from Senegal.
Serigne Ousmane Dia aka ‘Bombardier’ aka ‘B52’ is a one of the most legendary names in Senegalese wrestling and is two-time King of the Arenas champion. The 44-year-old embarked on his own journey into MMA in 2018 with a first-round win over fellow Senegalese wrestler ‘Rocky Balboa’ Amadou Papis Konez and he followed this up with a TKO victory over British BKB champion Dan Podmore last year.
