After missing out on the 2020 season due to the coronavirus pandemic, Palmer will now look win his third straight title at 145 pounds this year.

Palmer’s journey towards a third straight title starts with a familiar foe in Bubba Jenkins.

Jenkins (11-3) is new to the PFL, but Palmer and Jenkins are used to facing off against each other from their college wrestling days. Jenkins started his career off at Penn State before transferring to Arizona State where he won a national championship. Meanwhile, Palmer wrestled at Ohio State where he was a four-time All-American.

Prior to their first meeting in MMA, Palmer spoke to MyMMANews and other media outlets during PFL 1 media day. You can hear everything he had to say by watching the video above.
