For those who started following mixed martial arts following the Ultimate Fighter surge it may be hard to even remember a time when Anderson Silva was wearing a belt other than the UFC middleweight title, a belt which he defended more than any fighter in UFC history up, 10 times. (Update: UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson has since surpassed Silva’s record).
This weekend, Silva who lost his belt to Chris Weidman in July 2013, looks to get on the path toward another title run. First he must defeat Michael Bisping in the main event of their UFC London fight card available only on UFC Fight Pass.
But before he does ….. enjoy the above video when Silva defended his Cage Rage middleweight title against Fryklund, defeating him via knockout in the very first round from a brutal reverse elbow.
