Action continues on “Fight Island” as UFC on ESPN 13 kicks off tonight, Wednesday, July 13.
Just four days removed from UFC 251, the promotion returns to the Flash Forum on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
The event is headlined by ranked featherweights Calvin Kattar and Dan Ige. A bantamweight matchup between Jimmie Rivera and Cody Stamann will feature as the co-main event.
Lerone Murphy will make his second walk to the octagon against fellow featherweight Ricardo Ramos .
Murphy is coming off his UFC debut, where he received a draw against Zubaira Tukhugov at UFC 242 this past September. The 28-year-old is unbeaten in nine appearances with a 8-1 record.
Ramos is the more seasoned UFC veteran, currently riding a two-fight win streak. He is coming off his 145-pound octagon debut first-round submission win against Eduardo Garagorri at UFC on ESPN+ 22 this past November.

Ramos ducks under a Murphy strike and goes for the back. Murphy able to turn into Ramos, eats a knee. Murphy has Ramos against the cage. Ramos able to get out, knees throwing leg kicks. Ramos lands a right hand down the middle. Ramos misses with spinning leg kick and gives up his back. Murphy takes down Ramos, but Ramos is able to get on top. Murphy works to his feet. Murphy shoots for a takedown and scores. Murphy is landing heavy ground and pound on Ramos. Murphy stands, but comes back down and lands big shots. Murphy pours it on and earns a TKO win.
