LFA 11 Results from the Comerica Theater in Phoenix, Arizona
Legacy Fighting Alliance hosts LFA 11 tonight from the Comerica Theater in Phoenix, Arizona. The action starts at 9/8c on AXS TV with commentators Michael Schiavello, UFC Hall of Famer Pat Miletich and Ron Kruck.
In the main event, Matthew “The Thunder From Down Under” Frincu (10-2) took on Maycon Mendonca (6-1) in the welterweight division. Frincu was coming off of a win at LFA 5 where he destroyed his opponent and walked away with a decision victory.
Frincu was originally supposed to take on Daniel Madrid who had to pull out of the fight due to a broken hand suffered in training camp. Frincu will now be taking on Mendonca who is a Brazilian Muay Thai specialist. It didn’t take long for the knockout victory to take place tonight in Phoenix.

The co-main event of the evening featured two more welterweight prospects as James Nakashima (6-0) battled Larue Burley (7-2). Nakashima has a very strong wrestling base to his fight game, but has never been able to finish a fight in his professional career. Burley moved up to Welterweight from Lightweight for this fight and has the reputation of being “kryptonite” to wrestlers. Nakashima earned a unanimous decision win.
Sean O’Malley defeated David Nuzzo in might go down as what is a ‘Knockout of the Year’ contender. O’Malley landed a three-kick combo to get the win.
