LFA 85 winner Mitchell Sipe “ready for anything” and hoping for short-notice UFC fight

Interview with Mitchell Sipe above

Mitchell Sipe (5-2) recaps his first-round TKO victory over Darrion Abbey (1-2) at LFA 85 on July 17. Mitchell also talks about his experience fighting without an audience, how he celebrated after the victory, and how he’s staying ready for a short notice opportunity. Living in Las Vegas and training at Xtreme Couture, Sipe likes his chances if the UFC needs his services.

“Even after the Contender Series fights, I heard for like a straight month they are dishing out fights in Vegas. So they’re calling all the local people out here before they call anybody else. So I’m actually thinking about getting down to 230-240lbs, so if I have to take a fight at 205-pounds I can go ahead and do that as well. If I take at take a fight at heavyweight, I’ll be ready for a heavyweight fight too. So basically I want to be ready for anything that I can possibly get.”
