Lockdown Fight Series – Caged In Results
What a quiet year it has been for the United Kingdom’s regional fight scene since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. From shows being moved to different dates to eventually being cancelled, became the regular news. Unlike the larger organisations, the smaller events rely hugely on ticket sales as their main source of income to fund the show but with fans still unable to attend, this has been a terrible scenario which affects the promoters and fighters.
After receiving multiple calls and messages from fighters, the owner of popular promotion ECMMA , Frank Garcia, said enough is enough and decided to create Lockdown Fight Series as a pay per view only event behind closed doors.
On June 5th at Kings Sports Centre in Rochester, Lockdown Fight Series – Caged In took place and fireworks were flying from the start. With 27 fights including amateur and professional MMA, K1, and Boxing, there was something for all fight fans to tune into.
