Lyoto Machida ready for Bellator title opportunity after Carvalho
Lyoto Machida is a name in the mixed martial arts world that needs no introduction, as he’s been there and done that with a who’s who roster of opponents. Now a hot Bellator middleweight prospect, Machida gears up for his promotional debut dance partner at Bellator 213, which will be none other than the dangerous, former middleweight champion Rafael Carvalho who is coming off of a TKO loss to Gegard Mousasi at Bellator 200.
Machida claims to see “holes” in Carvalho’s standup game but expressed that the bout can take place anywhere on the night. Also stating he “believes so much” in his style, the middleweight contender didn’t feel the need to change much in in the gym, but also briefly touched on how he’s ever evolving as a human just like he is as a fighter and believes he will come out with his “hand raised” when it’s all said and done…Moving onto hopefully a title shot in 2019.
Tune in below as Loyoto “The Dragon” Machida goes one on one with MyMMANews’ own, Adam Crist to discuss his Bellator debut, fighting Rafael Carvalho, whether or not he’ll be drinking a warm steamy glass of urine ahead of his Bellator 213 bout and much more!
