Mackenzie Dern vs. Angela Hill now headlines UFC Vegas 73
Saturday’s UFC fight card in Charotte, North Carolina will take a blow, but the move will benefit the UFC Vegas 73 fight card on May 20.
Originally scheduled to meet on May 13, Mackenzie Dern and Angela Hill will now headline next weekend’s fight card in Las Vegas. MMA Fighting reporter Guilherme Cruz was first to report the news. The UFC has not yet made an official announcement on the move.
Dern (12-3) is looking to bounce back after a loss to Xiaonan Yan in October 2022. Hill (15-12) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Emile Ducote in December.
UFC Fight Night 224 was in need of a main event after Irene Aldana vs. Raquel Pennington was canceled caused by Aldana moving into a title shot vs. bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes in the UFC 289 headliner next month.
