Magomed Magomedov Bellator 254 Post-Fight Media Scrum
In a bantamweight tussle in the co-main event on the main card on Thursday night, Matheus Mattos and Magomed Magomedov meet at Bellator 254 at the Mohegan Sun Area in Uncasville, Conn. The main card begins at 10 p.m. ET.
Magomedov (16-1-0) is making his Bellator debut in this fight and does so coming off a three fight winning streak. Magomedov is also competing for the first time in over two years, with his last bout happening in November of 2018. Magomedov has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came in the hands to UFC veteran Petr Yan.
Mattos (12-1-1), also like Magomed, is making his Bellator debut in this bout and the fighter is also coincidentally competing for the first time in two years. Mattos has suffered just one loss as a professional MMA fighter and much like Magomedov yet again, that loss came to the previously mentioned Yan. Mattos has competed 14 times as a professional MMA fighter and just three of them went the distance.

Magomed: “To be honest with you, i have no idea, because i don’t know where i am at…yh i probably earned some credit… at the end of the day I am where i am and i’ll work for a shot at the title”
