Malek Mahmoud set to return at CFFC 94 on April 1

Malek Mahmoud hasn’t fought since April of 2018, when he lost a narrow split decision to Vladimir Kazbekov in the co-main event of Maverick MMA 6.

Following the loss, Mahmoud’s fan base in northeastern Pennsylvania couldn’t wait to watch what he did next, as they knew the close loss was going to make him come back with a vengeance. Instead, Mahmoud announced his retirement due to a number of injuries.

Prior to his fight, Mahmoud spoke to MyMMANews about his long awaited return. Aside from talking about his comeback fight, Mahmoud also talked about his health and his drive to once again be a professional fighter.
