Manager says Justin Gaethje would ‘slaughter’ Conor McGregor

It seems every day a new fighter or manager calls out Conor McGregor, and we can Ali Abdelaziz to that list, again. With the majority of top lightweights booked, who the Irishman fights next, if he fights at all, is up in the air. One logical opponent is Justin Gaethje who is coming off of a knockout win over Edson Barboza.

Gaethje is not currently booked and has been wanting a top-five opponent for a long time. However, according to his manager in Abdelaziz, it would be a bad idea for the former champ-champ to fight the brawler.

“If Justin Gaethje will fight Conor McGregor, it’s like slaughtering a pig, and he’s going to squeal, and he’s going to be all red and blue on Monday night,” Abdelaziz told MMA Junkie recently. “His legs will be like a rainbow color. His face would be like a watermelon, black and red,” he added. “We’ll give this white boy some color. We’ll give him a bloody tan. Justin Gaethje would eat his heart alive.

“Justin Gaethje – I’ve been kicked by a lot of guys; when he kicks you, his kick touches your heart, your intestines, your butthole,” Abdelaziz added. “Everything hurts.”

While Abdelaziz would like to see that fight, he isn’t quite sure it happens as he believes McGregor is more of an Instagram model than he is a fighter.

“Conor McGregor is an Instagram model,” Abdelaziz said. “Conor McGregor, he just wants attention. He goes to the gym everyday, and they give him a spray bottle to make him look sweaty. But we know this guy doesn’t really train hard, because if you train hard, you can’t be losing. He hasn’t won a fight since 1996.”

Ultimately, no one truly knows if McGregor will fight again, but if he does, Gaethje seems like a viable option for his next fight.
