Matt Frevola – “McGregor ain’t fighting. Dude’s juiced to the gills, coked up, beating up girls”
Matt Frevola (11-3-1) is doing what many have done before him, using his mouth to help book a fight. “Steamrolla” Frevola is currently the #14 ranked UFC lightweight, coming off three consecutive first-round finishes.
Now, without a fight currently on the horizon, the 33-year-old fighter from New York is asking to fight current Ultimate Fighter season 31 coach Michael Chandler. In a video posted on social media, Frevola initially discussed competing against rising star Paddy Pimblett, but then quickly transitioned to Chandler who still doesn’t have a date as to when a possible fight against former two-division champion and fellow TUF 31 coach Conor McGregor will go down.
“But if you don’t wanna sign on the line, I’m ready for Michael Chandler,” Frevola said. “McGregor ain’t fighting. Dude’s juiced to the gills, coked up, beating up girls. Michael Chandler, you could keep dreaming and not fighting, but guess who you can fight at MSG?”

McGregor still has not re-entered the USADA testing pool which now makes him ineligible to compete in 2023. As a result, Chandler who is ranked #5 is waiting on the sidelines.
Earlier this month MyMMANews reporter Blaine Henry suggested that McGregor will never fight again. If that’s the case, Chandler cannot continue to sit as it won’t be advantageous for him either. Yes, the money fight is on the horizon for the former Bellator MMA champ, but will it ever come to frutition?
