Maverick MMA kicks off 2022 with four title bouts at Maverick 18
Maverick MMA officials have announced the lineup to their next card, their first of 2022 with Maverick 18, which will be held on March 26 at Split Rock Resort in Lake Harmony, Pennsylvania.
“After an amazing 2021, we are back to kick off 2022 with a bang,” Maverick MMA promoter Willy Sisca told MyMMANews.com.
“Four title fights, some amazing professional bouts, and the best young amateur fighters in the country. There is a perfect mix of guys who have been Maverick athletes for the last several years and fighters who are making their much-anticipated promotional debuts. Taylor McMahan, Isaac Kent, Qaadir Pratt, Christian Carr, and Raymond Ceballos are some of the top names I’m excited to see perform. Returning to the Heptagon will be familiar names like Ibrahim Kallie, Josh Ugalde, Nick Carrelli, Billy Markle. This card is projected to sell out so get your tickets NOW!”
In the main event, “The Strong Eagle” Vilson Ndregioni looks to take his pro MMA record to 5-1 with a win over Boimah Karmo (8-5). The headlining 145-pound matchup is for the Maverick MMA pro featherweight title.
Christian Carr and Nick Carrelli will duke it out at 145-pounds to see who takes home the promotion’s advanced amateur featherweight title, while Olivier Poisson and Billy Markle will do the same down at bantamweight.
Coming off a scary knockout win for Stellar Fights is Taylor McMahan meeting the returning Josh Ugalde for the amateur title at lightweight.
