May 13th BKFC headliner scratched: Britain Hart (Beltran) out due to medical emergency
Britain Beltran, formerly known as Britain Hart, has been forced to pull from her rematch with Bec Rawlings.
Originally slated as one half of the May 13th Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship headliner, number one ranked women’s flyweight, Beltran, announced on Instagram yesterday that she will no longer be a part of the event.
In the apologetic statement, Beltran states “I, unfortunately, have to pull out of my fight.”
“I do want to apologize to my opponent, Bec Rawlings,” she continues.
“I was practicing and working out really hard and feeling sick, and you know, me and Joey found out that we were expecting.”
“When we went to the doctor right before Joey’s fight, we found out the baby doesn’t have a heartbeat.”
Beltran continues, “fighting is easy compared to real life because real life hits f***ing way harder than getting knocked out in a ring.”
Following the devastating news, Britain Beltran notified BKFC that she was unable to go forward with the bout just 10 days away.
Both Beltran and Rawlings let fans know that the bout will be rescheduled, though there has yet to be a time frame announced.

Dakota Cochrane vs. Josh Dyer will serve as the new main event for BKFC: Omaha. Which will still take place on May 13th, at the Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Ralston, Nebraska. The event will be broadcasted on Bareknuckle TV.
We here at MyMMANews keep the Beltran family in our thoughts as they navigate this tough time, and we look forward to her return when she feels the time is right.
