Medical suspensions handed out for UFC on ESPN 8 fighters
UFC on ESPN 8 delivered a bunch of very good and very close fights on Saturday. Now that the fights are behind us, we now know how long it’ll be before we see some of the fighters back inside the octagon.
MMA Junkie was first to report the medical suspensions, which they obtained from the Florida Boxing Commission.
Alistar Overeem and Walter Harris, who headlined the event, both hit each other with heavy shots, with each men scoring knockdowns. Overeem, who won the fight by a second-round TKO, was bleeding from the face and will face a 45-day suspension. Harris was given the same suspension.
Humble in victory and defeat.
